Session Details

{Maternity Sessions/ $150}
This covers my time and talent in capturing your session images.
Sessions lasting 30-45 minutes
Scheduling and Timing :
Maternity sessions are generally conducted during the 7th month of pregnancy. Therefore, it is recommended that you book your session prior to or during your 5th-6th month.
Includes (15 pictures) fully edited images on a cd. *** You may want to consider booking your newborn session at this time to ensure I will be available when your bundle of joy arrives.

{Newborn Sessions / $165}
This covers my time and talent in capturing your session images.
Newborns are best photographed in their first 10 days of life. They tend to still be in their sleepy and curly stage " Just like they are in the womb".  I ask that you nurse or feed your baby 45 minutes prior to your session.  A full baby = a sleepy baby. If at all possible try to keep your newborn stimulated a couple of hours prior to our session so he/she will be ready to fall asleep in a cuddly and warm blanket . The best way to photograph your newborn is in their birthday suit, clothes tend to be bulky and awkward.This session can run for up to 2-3 hours building in time to feed and take care of your baby in between shots ( only if needed though baby should already come fed) . All props are provided to use during the shoot like headbands, hats, blankets, etc ... also if you have anything special like a blanket or something meaningful to you feel free to bring it. I am always open to new ideas!  If you see something you like in any of the galleries, be sure to mention it when inquiring.... also please remember to bring a pacifier even if baby does not take one, this helps for soothing during the session.
Includes (18 pictures) fully edited images on a CD.

{Baby & Child / $150}
This covers my time and talent in capturing your session images.
Sessions lasting 45-1 hr for up to 4 children. (additional children can be added for $15 each) This session also includes unlimited clothing changes, poses and props.
Includes (15 pictures) fully edited images on a CD.

{Mini Sessions /$75} Seasonal
This covers my time and talent in capturing your session images.
Sessions lasting 20-30 minutes for up to 2 children.
Here and there I will be offering throughout the year the opportunity for a Mini Session. These are great for when a full session is just out of your budget or if you are just looking for a few shots. Be sure to be alert of the announcement and sign up they will be based first requests.
Includes (5 pictures) fully edited images on a CD.

*** A deposit of $35 for a baby/child session and $50 for a newborn session is required to reserve your spot that will be invoiced  2 weeks before the session and it is non-refundable.



Why is a professional photographer so expensive ?
Here’s why.Simply put, you’re not just paying for the actual photograph, you’re paying for time and expertise.  First, let’s look at the actual time involved.
For a two hour portrait session:
- 20 minutes to 30mins of travel to and from session
- up to 2 hrs of shooting
- 30 minutes of setup, preparation, talking to the client, meeting child etc..
- 20-30 minutes to load the photos onto a computer (2-4 GB of data)
- 20-30 minutes to back up the files on an external drive
- 4-8 hours of Photoshop time including cropping, contrast, color, sharpening, saving a copy for print, internet, labeling a personal imaged CD cover and backing up the edited photographs on an external drive
- 2-3 hours to talk to the client, answer questions/emails, schedule shipment and drop package off at the post office if they have to be sent.

You can see how a 2 hr session easily turns into more than 10-12 hours of work from start to finish.  So when you see a Photographer charge a $200 session fee for a 2 hour photo shoot, you are not paying them $100/hour.
